Jewelry Tutorial: Make a Wire-wrapped Bracelet Lesson 2

This is the second lesson in a tutorial for how to make a sterling silver wire wrapped bracelet. Start the tutorial from lesson 1.


Getting Started

You don't need a lot of equipment to make wire wrapped jewelry—with surprisingly little, even a novice can create a beautiful handcrafted bracelet that's wearable, fashionable, custom-sized, and exactly what you want.

That said, having the necessary tools and materials ready to go when you're ready to go makes it much easier. The last thing you want is to sit down to start creating your jewelry masterpiece, only to find you don't have the right pliers. It doesn't matter how strong you may be or how great your fine motor skills are—turning a wire loop with your fingers is not an option!

Visit local beading stores or, for the best deals and selection, try the many online jewelry supply stores to buy beads, findings, tools and equipment. When I was in business selling my artisan jewelry, I bought everything I needed to make jewelry on the Internet.

I've labeled each post in this tutorial with a lesson number. Just go sequentially from lesson to lesson to follow the tutorial.
