Wrapping a Bead
Begin by making a perfect wrapped loop as described in the previous lesson.
After you have a single wrapped loop, string a bead onto the wire. Then make a second wrapped loop on the other end.
- Make your 90-degree bend at the same distance from the bead as the first loop. You should only have enough room to wrap the tail around twice.
- Be patient. It will take practice before your wraps are perfectly symmetrical.
Once you have your finished wrap, measure it from end to end. This is the length of the wrapped bead.
Next, you'll learn how to determine the number of wrapped beads you will need.
